Formed in 1990, the ParaQuad Association of Tasmania is a not-for-profit organisation who strives to be the leading voice within the Tasmanian community for those people living with Spinal Cord Injuries and other physical disability. Our services include the provision of general information, referral, peer support, access information, advocacy and educational programs. ParaQuad Tasmania’s programs and activities are supported by grants and funding from the State Government, MAIB and donations from local and national businesses as well as from the Tasmanian community. The Association is committed to providing people living with physical disability independence through improved choices, strong partnerships, community engagement and educational opportunities. Membership is open to people with a physical disability, their families, friends and carers.
