The ParaQuad Association of Tasmania is the peak body for Tasmanians with Spinal Cord Injury and is a registered charity.
We are focused on ability and our mission is empowering the lives of Tasmanians with Spinal Cord Injury and physical disability, by ensuring quality of access and opportunities to participate.
We support these people by:
-improving choice
-building partnerships to enhance services
-offering information and education
We are looking to fill positions on its Committee of Management, which provides governance and strategic leadership to the Association.
Do you have:
-experience on NFP management committees/boards?
-experience in corporate governance?
-financial and accounting skills?
-lived experience of Spinal Cord Injury of other physical disability?
If you tick at least a few of these boxes and are a passionate Tasmanian resident we’d love to hear from you.
These positions are elected annually. The Committee meets six times a year, has active sub-committees and requires a commitment of two to four hours every month for Director duties.
